Introduction: Hi there, I’m Liz! Originally from Louisiana, my experience began with Hurricane Katrina animal rescue. I have worked with a rescue agency for over 15 years, both as a kennel volunteer and an animal foster parent. I have over 800+ hours of training, and I was a PetSmart Certified Groomer for three years. As a result of my experiences, I’ve learned a great deal about animal behavior, and I’m particularly sensitive to the needs of cautious, shy, and fearful pets. That said, I can also provide your exuberant, high-energy furry babies with a good workout! My own animal companions have included both large and small dogs, cats, ferrets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, birds, tarantulas, snakes, and horses, so I am comfortable no matter what the composition of your household menagerie! In addition to love, attention, and exercise, I can also perform bathing, dog grooming, and cleaning enclosures/cages. No matter what size, age, or species your animal companions are, I look forward to providing them with the loving care you yourself would give them! For dog grooming, I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday mornings anytime between 7am - 1pm. I am typically available for pet sitting and dog walking whenever is most convenient for you.
