After meeting with three other companies, we ultimately decided to go with Alejandro and A&J Siding for our home in Freehold, NJ, and I couldnt be happier with that decision.This was a large and very detailed exterior project that included a combination of James Hardie board-and-batten and traditional Hardie siding, new windows, stone facade walls and entrance, custom entryway columns, two custom stone postsone incorporating our mailboxlimestone pavers, and a stone chimney with a custom chimney cap. There were a lot of moving pieces and details to coordinate, and Alejandros attention to detail from beginning to end was exceptional.The project took a lot of time and thought to plan, and Alejandro was incredibly patient throughout the entire process. He came out to our home multiple times before and during the project to meet with us, go over ideas, and review every detail. His suggestions throughout the process were extremely valuable. He has a great eye for what works and, based on his experience, would point out things we hadnt considered or suggest a better way of accomplishing what we were trying to achieve. At the same time, he listened to what we wanted and never made us feel pressured or rushed. It truly felt like he cared about the finished product as much as we did.One thing that especially stood out was that Alejandro was paying attention to more than just the work he was hired to do. During the project, he identified issues completely outside of his original scope, including areas of our roof that were causing damage. He brought them to my attention and took the time to perform roof maintenance and make the necessary repairs along the way. These were things I never would have noticed myself, and he easily could have ignored them because they werent part of the original project. That really showed me the level of pride he takes in his work and the way he treats a customers home.His crew was just as impressive. They are hardworking, respectful, and consistently went above and beyond. They kept the property organized and always cleaned up after themselves. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the entire project were excellent.Dealing with any contractor, especially on a project of this size can be stressful, but Alejandro made the entire experience much easier. He always answers his phone, responds to questions, explains things clearly, and stands behind his work. I never felt like I was chasing him down for an answer.Alejandro and his team are honest, hardworking, meticulous, and genuinely take pride in what they do. A&J Siding was worth every penny. After such an extensive project, I can confidently say I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone in Freehold Township or the surrounding area looking for a contractor they can trust with their home.
