If you are looking for dog training that starts with listening to what you envision as the perfect result and then customizing a program towards achieving that result, then I am the trainer for you. I work with you and your dog so that you, as the primary handler, develop the skills to maintain your dog's training long after I am gone. If you choose the Board and Train option, I personally work with your dog for at least a two-weeks, targeting the five basic obedience skills that are the basis for every level of AKC obedience competition. The progress of your dog is reported back to you. Then I will come to you at your home (included in the price) and work with you for two sessions so that you, as the primary handler, can maintain these skills for the rest of your dog's life!

Ben is such an amazing trainer. He's very understanding and knowledgeable about dog behavior and psychology. I have a 4 month old Siberian Husky who just turned one --my boy can be high energy and having a husky as a first-time dog owner is not easy. Ben helped me with obedience training and more advanced training after learning basic obedience commands such as (sit, down etc). He also called me back anytime I needed extra help. If your looking for an expert that is knowledgeable, gentle but firm when needed, Ben is the person you need!

I can’t say enough good things about Canine Consierge trainer, Ben. From the very first session, his calm confidence and deep understanding of caninebehavior put both me and my dog at ease. He tailored the training to meet our unique needs and made sure every step was clear and effective. My dog went from pulling on walks and ignoring commands to being well-behaved and responsive to my prompts. I really valued Ben’s patience—not just with my pup, but with me as my pup’s guardian. Ben has the ability to truly approach his training techniques from the mind of the dog. Through his patient and deliberate techniques, he guides the dog and its owner to really understand each other and work in tandem to a successful outcome. In my case, I have an older dog who I thought had “plateaued” in her ability to learn new skills. She was not easy on a leash and did not have a reliable “come” or “down” command. Ben worked with us patiently and consistently to correct this and now my dog has really become more manageable. She and I are both happier walking outside and, in my opinion, safer since she will come when I call her and doesn’t pull when on the leash. A great outcome and a great trainer. Ben respects both the dog and its owner, not often the case with some trainers I’ve used in the past. Five stars from me and my Lila.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are Personalized - Private (We come to you!) - Boarded Training is a good alternative and highly customizable. Both options are affordable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start out with a free consultation to understand what is going on with you and your pup. I love dogs and want all dog owners to enjoy the closeness that comes from working with your companion as a team. First, we "LISTEN" to you and to what is going on- then we work out the training protocol based on your goals and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training dogs all my life. I am certified and if desired, as an AKC Evaluator I can take you and your dog all the way to a AKC Good Companion Certification.
