If you’re looking for an amazing hair and makeup artist in the Hoboken area, I cannot recommend Leylya enough! I hired her to do my hair and makeup two days in a row — first for my bachelorette party where she created the perfect glamorous 50s pin-up look, and then again for my bridal shower with a beautiful soft glam romantic style. She absolutely nailed both looks and brought my vision to life flawlessly. Leylya is incredibly talented, experienced, timely, and professional. She was always punctual, organized, and made the entire experience feel effortless and stress-free. Her communication was perfect from beginning to end — responsive, clear, and so easy to coordinate with. Beyond her talent, Leylya was also so sweet and calm throughout everything, which made such a difference during busy wedding events. I cannot recommend Leylya highly enough! I was traveling for a wedding and reached out to her literally the day before I needed hair and makeup. Not only did she graciously accommodate my last-minute request, but she was also available for *two consecutive days*, which made my weekend so much less stressful. Leylya is incredibly talented. My hair and makeup looked beautiful, photographed wonderfully, and lasted all day and night through the wedding festivities. She listened to exactly what I wanted and created a look that felt polished, elegant, and still like me. Beyond her talent, Leylya was professional, punctual, and such a pleasure to spend time with. She is warm, kind, and immediately puts you at ease. It felt like getting ready with a friend. Leyla did my hair for my bridal shower and it came out perfect! I have thin hair and was a little nervous about the style I wanted but she did an amazing job with adding in my clip-in extensions seamlessly. She has a great personality and was so easy to talk to with. She asked me questions every step of the way to make sure we were on the same page with the final look. She also fit my mom in last minute and did a great job on her hair as well which I really, really appreciate. If I ever have another event in NJ, I am definitely booking again!
