- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thank you so much for considering Paula Jane Makeup Artistry! 🤍 I believe everyone deserves to look and feel beautiful for their special occasion. My goal is to create a look that enhances your natural beauty while still feeling like you! My Services & Pricing: * Bridal Makeup: $250 * Bridal Makeup Trial: $200 * Bridal Party Makeup: $150 per person * Special Event Makeup: $150 per person I offer on-location makeup services throughout South Jersey, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas, bringing the beauty experience right to you! For locations an hour or more away, a minimum of 3 makeup services is preferred. Smaller parties are still welcome, with a travel fee of $1 per mile round trip. To officially reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable booking retainer is required and applied toward your total balance. I look forward to being part of your special day! 💕
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love getting to know my clients and understanding their vision for their special day! We usually start with a conversation about your event date, location, how many people will need makeup, and what time everyone needs to be ready. Once we confirm availability, I’ll put together a personalized proposal with all the details. A signed agreement and booking retainer will officially secure your date. For my brides, I also offer a bridal preview where we can take our time creating a look that feels beautiful, comfortable, and completely you! Communication is something I really value. I know how stressful wedding planning can already be, and the last thing I want is for my brides to have another thing to worry about. I make it a priority to be responsive, approachable, and available to answer questions throughout the process. I also personally go over the wedding morning timeline with my brides to make sure we have enough time for everyone’s makeup without feeling rushed. I want everyone to be able to relax, enjoy the morning, and actually have fun getting ready! My goal is to make the entire experience as smooth and stress-free as possible, from our first conversation to the finishing touches on your special day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, including working with luxury beauty brands such as Lancôme, Clinique, and Dior. My years working at beauty counters and as a freelance makeup artist have given me the opportunity to work with women of all ages, skin tones, skin types, and facial features. Through hands-on experience, product education, and working with so many different clients, I’ve learned that makeup is never one-size-fits-all. I especially love creating natural, soft glam looks that enhance each person’s unique features while still allowing them to feel like themselves!
