Ryan DeVesty

My name is Ryan DeVesty, and I've been working in the print and media design field for 6 years and now designing everything from environmental graphics, branding, album art, brochures and catalogs, packaging, editorial, photo re-touching, clothing graphics, etc. I'm a high-energy individual with great people skills. My spare time is spent drawing in my sketch book and screen printing on anything I can get my hands on. I love offset printing as well as letter press. I have experience working for an offset printer where I assisted with pre-press plates and client proofs. On another note living life as an athlete has made working in a team come natural to me. I've worked with teams of designers to assemble trade shows and conferences with in-tight deadlines. Speaking of athletics being raised on the Jersey shore, some of my weekly-must-have-activities which give me inspiration are surfing, skating, snowboarding, Mt biking, and fishing. I also document these activities on various cameras on hand. Having a healthy body and mind is what I live for. I'm a member of AIGA, and frequently visit all the art museums in the tri-state area which also stimulate inspiration. Some of my favorite magazines are HOW, Juxtapoz, Dwell, and Print.
