Reference for David Degenhardt: For the last 2 months I have been using David as a Personal Trainer. Working with David has provided better results than the previous 6 months I spent in physical therapy. During this time David has worked with me twice a week. The objective of the training is to help me with my balance and posture problems. David has diligently sought to gain new knowledge about the exercise regimens that can ameliorate balance problems and effectively applied this knowledge in the development of my exercise program. I have been diagnosed as having Essential Tremor with Parkinsonian features. My neurologist has given me a Prescription for Personal Training based on the results and progress that I have made working with David. David has developed an exercise plan to address these specific problems. He is training me to use the neutral spine position to correct both my balance and posture. The exercise regimen focuses on building core strength. These techniques led to significant improvements in my balance and posture. The program also focuses on movements to improve activities of daily living, renew and fine-tune my gait, and build up my endurance. It is proving to be very useful for regaining balance in my day to day and my endurance is greatly improved and continually progressing. A specific goal of mine is to be ready to travel Europe for 6 months with my wife as part of our retirement. In the time since training with David we sold our condo in Jersey City with plans to find a short-term rental in either Manhattan or Brooklyn up until our trip. We decided to stay in Jersey City so that I can continue my training with David up until the time of our departure. Lee Eppstein

Dave is extremely invested and educated about training. He spent 6 months at Focus Personal Training Institute learning the sciences behind exercise and, as my student and intern, I watched him effectively apply them in both one-on-one and group settings. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You will receive a discount the larger the package you purchase i.e. 12, 24 or 36 pack of sessions. There is also a discount for committing to a monthly service rate for a minimum one year commitment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the process starts with a 2.5-3 hour assessment to go through your entire medical/health history, explain brain based training, assess walking gait, full brainstem function evaluation & other pertinent issues, & set up goals. This assessment is $300.
