Born in The Bronx, I grew up in Monroe, NY. I spent my early years traversing through the streets of NYC. I now live in New Jersey. I visit the city often. I am also a proud dad and husband; my son and I share the same birthday! I studied Communication at the University at Buffalo - SUNY, where I discovered my love for photography. I am also a member of NYC Prime Shot. My goal is to show the beauty, grace, strength, and enthusiasm of people. I focus on non-models and place regular people in situations that highlight an aspect of who they are. I strive for a sense of integrity and fortitude in my work. As your photographer, you will discover an individual who is willing to go that extra mile, spending the time necessary to give you the service that you deserve. When I’m not taking pictures of people and events, I love to travel the world, play video games, watch movies and anime, play basketball, and take pictures of my dog Mikey!

Joel was absolutely amazing to work with. We were very specific about what we wanted and the amount of time we wanted to spend on pictures at our wedding which bucked the normal trend of what most couples want. Joel worked with us, stuck within our timeline without pushing and got every picture we wanted, plus some. He was incredibly professional, pleasant and dealt with our changes and lack of tremendous communication during the process (we were a little overwhelmed!). I could not recomend him any more to anybody who is looking for an amazing photographer for any event. He even got us our pictures within days of our wedding. He was simply the best!

Joel captured moments during my son's 5th birthday party that are priceless--those candid moments that only professionals have the eye and responsiveness to capture. He also made sure to capture photos of all of our guests, both staged and candid. The work quality was fantastic and the touched up photos are very professional. The cherry on top--he's a very nice person who was easy to work with and smile for. We will definitely hire Joel again for another occasion!

Joel was amazing! Easy to communicate with prior to the wedding and was great to work with during our wedding as well!
