FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was formally a financial services professional who always enjoyed making things more than sitting at a desk. I took on the renovation of a Victorian terrace in London and decided that woodworking was my preferred profession. I learned the trade whilst working for 2 different high end furniture and cabinet makers in New York, and started my own business in late 2017 after renting a workshop at Brooklyn Navy Yard.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Home owners, both large and small corporations and residential landlords.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You get what you pay for - plenty of providers will give you a seemingly incredible price, but this becomes less palatable when they fail to meet your expectations and you have to hire a genuine professional to correct their mistakes and complete the project to your satisfaction.
