Introduction

In order to change a dog's behavior, one must get to the route of why they are doing what they do. This is where my training methods differ from "typical" training being offered by others. I teach my clients to understand their dog's body language and energy. I also teach how dogs interpret our body language and energy. Once everybody's on the same page (canine and humans,) the behavioral issues literally disappear. I am passionate about prevention - that is, preventing a dog from ending up at a shelter in the first place. Watching a dog's behavior change before my eyes is so very rewarding. I know that when the training is done, the dog and their humans will have a new understanding and respect for each other. No dog I have worked with has ever ended up in a shelter!

Wow is the primary word that comes to mind. We still have a lot of homework to do; however, even just after the first session (mostly training me, not the pup), there is a marked change in my dog's behavior. It is really hard to believe how much you are misinterpreting your dog until you've had a session with this wonderful woman... pretty much everything I thought was cute and rewarded was absolutely horrible dominant behavior, which just spurred my pup's craziness even more! Couldn't be happier and cannot wait to hone these skills and show off at the next session and with our visitors!

As soon as I sat down in this client's house, they let their larger-sized dog in and she immediately ran over to me and put her paws up on my shoulders! Well, HELLO! Haha! Their girl is a very sweet dog, but was a bit crazy and without any manners at all! Although well-intended, her behavior was pretty intrusive! After just one correction, I was able to show the family how to command respect around the things that got their pup the most riled up (food especially.) I warms my heart when I receive a message the day after training telling me that the dog is already being well-mannered! Keep up the great work, guys! You're well on your way to a happy, mannerly pup!

Susan is the East Coast version of 'Ceaser Milan.' I can not believe how quick she trained me to train my Border Collie. Cody was a very active dog who kind of ruled the roost. Susan totally had him obeying her in no time. What's even better is he now listens to me. She is truly a 'Dog Whisperer.'

We were most impressed with Susan and her dog training techniques! She was, just simply said, "Amazing!" She taught us her techniques which we have implemented with mixed results. However, we created the problem in seven months and its not going to correct itself in a week. The great thing about Susan is that she did offer a pay as you go option. We also were impressed by her power point presentation explaining why our dog was behaving the way she has been behaving. Thank you Susan!

Susan is the only trainer you need if you have a problem dog. She will show exactly how to fix them, the very first visit. Our dog had multiple issues -- biting (hard, drew blood), would not let us eat, would not let us open the door, etc. After the first visit, the very next day, most problems are gone. It's not magic but is based on sound animal behavior principles, and we know that all of our dog problems will be solved leaving us and the dog much happier and calm with a week or two.

I have never seen a little dog so obsessed with getting food that it would spring up from the floor to steal food right out of an adult's mouth! That's how out of control this little rescue dog was! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My methods are so effective, most clients only need 1 session! I give you all the information you'll need to help bring balance to your dog in the very first visit. You will see a difference in your dog's behavior before our session ends! I am then available should you have any questions. Should you need a refresher follow-up visit, the price is reduced.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually read everything about training that I can get my hands on. I work with other trainers and mentors. I have taken the best from every source and have developed my own methods that work every single time!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always trained dogs (mine, those of family and friends, etc.) I guess it was a bit of a hobby for me! I eagerly absorbed any and all training methods. I took what I found worked best and left the rest. Some methods I have developed myself work better than most!
