Introduction: alot of masons do not know the theory behind this kind of work. i was fortunate to be taught laying brick and finishing concrete by my grandfather and went to trade school out of high school, so i learned how to preform my work to perfection and with respect of the trade and to home owners as well as a great work ethic. when the job is complete and i can step back with the owner and look at finish product and see how pleased they are with my work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
never have the chance because i have to stay busy working to support my family.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
i was always naturally good with my hands and when i was 12 yr old my grandfather taught me how to lay brick and when i was 14 finish concrete and then i pursued trade school at 18 years old and have been doing it ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
brick pointing, brick venneer, concrete patios, concrete porches and walways, brick paver patios and walkways, waterproofing basements, block foundations for additions and block retaining walls.
