Recently, I decided to go back to one of my first loves -- classical guitar -- after decades of not playing. Frank is starting me with the essentials - scales! -- and I know this the foundation for everything to come. In just the first lesson, I learned several new things (ditch the foot stool, record the bass -- or treble -- line of those little exercises on your iPhone and play a duet, just for fun). I have a demanding work schedule, and Frank is super flexible with dates and times, which I sincerely appreciate. Looking forward to our lesson next week. One hour feels like five minutes, and that says a lot! :-)

It was my daughters first lesson. Frank went through the basics is holding the bow, how to take care of and to tune her instrument. She seemed to have improved on the first lesson with a better understanding. We are looking forward to her next lesson.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $50.00 per hour. Package deals are available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take the time to get to know each student and find out what has motivated them to want to learn to play the guitar. This helps me design a course of study for that student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music from Rutgers and a K-12 teaching certification. Plus I have many years of experience which has given me many insights into teaching.
