Hi! I’m Uswa, a Certified Professional Makeup Artist based in New Jersey. I graduated from Makeup Academy NYC and have been working as a freelance makeup artist for the past year, helping clients feel confident and beautiful for their special moments. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work at New York Fashion Week and the Gucci Cruise Show, which have been incredible experiences and helped me grow as an artist. What matters most to me, though, is my clients. I pay close attention to every detail, maintain strict hygiene standards, and make sure each look is customized to the person sitting in my chair. I hired Haus of Glow for my baby shower because I wanted someone to come to me and also didn’t want to have to worry about doing my own hair or makeup. She did a great job based off my inspo pic. She also did a great job asking me how I liked it throughout the process and we’d make tweaks if needed. It was super easy to talk to her and I would definitely hire her again for an event!!

10/10 ✨ this MUA got me exactly what I wanted for my wedding, was very efficient, and asides being very friendly, she had a vast amount of makeup products to choose from - it was great to be given many options to match the makeup look I wanted! Also extra points for being able to communicate with my mom and do her make up when my mom doesn’t speak English! My mom, sister, and I looked great for my wedding ✨
