Wyred Music

Introduction: Wyred is a music production alias created by Matt Dwyer, a twenty-seven year old musician from New Jersey. In 2016 Dwyer attended the Icon Collective School of Music in Los Angeles. In the Summer of 2017 he graduated with a degree in Digital Music Production. He worked professionally as a music producer, mix engineer, songwriter and sound designer in Los Angeles for 6 years, and has recently relocated to the Philadelphia area. While in school, Wyred began collaborating with artists such as Sammy Adams, Matthew Koma, Fitness, ScarLit, Hvdes, J Clark, Tonoso, OSOTYT, and Kaivon. Wyred released his first single “Where You Are”with Sammy Adams which reached nearly 15 Million streams since 2017. Wyred has collaborated with Matthew Koma & DJ Carter Cruise to produce music for various pop artists and began scoring music for short films using largely synth-based atmospheres and percussion. A longtime cinephile, Matt has been passionate about film composing and in 2020, began working as an apprentice to award winning film composer Timothy Williams as a drum programmer on projects for Disney and Dreamworks.
