- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the scope of your project, the level of the position you're seeking, and the package option you choose. Customized quotes require the following: a copy of your most recent resume or outline of your work history and academic credentials if you don't have one, along with 2-3 links to online job postings that represent your current employment goal (this is critical since an effective resume is always targeted to your goal).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Career Thought Leaders Associate and an active member of the National Resume Writers' Association, Career Directors International, the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches. I regularly take continuing education classes and consult with industry professionals, including recruiters, to stay informed on the latest resume and job search trends.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Clients, including those who are unemployed and those seeking to transition into a new career field, typically seek my assistance when they find their current resumes are just not generating results. While resume services can be purchased independently, most clients find the best value and results in purchasing a complete branded package, which includes resume, cover letter, and search-optimized LinkedIn profile. Setting up a basic profile and forgetting about it is not an effective LinkedIn strategy -- once I've optimized their profile and incorporated valuable keywords, I instruct clients on how to maximize their use of this valuable tool to appeal to employers and recruiters.
