I know what it's like to be in a lesson room with someone who wants to only teach you what they want. I want you to come to me with what YOU want to learn. The lessons should never be about the teacher, only about the students wants and goals. I learned that a long time ago and I hope I can help you achieve the best you can be
I love teaching new students. The most fulfilling thing is to see one of my students excel to a new level of drumming. I have been teaching for 3 years and I have had a wide variety of ages (8-40). I make lessons fun and innovative. If a student is having fun while learning then they're going to get the material quicker. My rates are negotiable and we can work out whether I come to you or you come to me.

No reason in the world you should not take drum lessons with Jon. He is very encouraging for improvement, patient, and energetic when it comes to progress. All around great guy too!

I started playing about a year ago at the age of 31. I work a full time job and Jon has not only be flexible with my schedule he has gone above approach insure I get the skill and knowledge I need. His knowledge and professionalism separates him from other instructors as he is able to connect to all generations of music. He has been able to answer all my question from equipment to styles of playing. I thought it would be hard for someone like me to learn due to my age and schedule but he has shown me you can start at any age. It’s been a pleasure working with Jon and I will continue too.
