- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by a combination of Sq / Ft and Bedroom, Bathroom Count along with any additional structures to be inspected (Free standing garages, pool houses, combination of Pool House and Garage, Cottage, second living space. Military, Veteran and First Responder Discounts are offered. Payment is expected on side at the conclusion of the visual only inspection in the form of cash, check, Zelle or credit card.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The point of the home inspection is to document the factors that affect the property value, safety and habitability. During our inspection we may find conditions that could be costly to remedy or require further negotiation to lessen the cost impact. My goal is to educate my client and provide a clear picture of the homes true value. We hope to reduce any fear or anxiety regarding the property. Purchasing a house is an adult process and one should not be alarmed when a condition is found or noted. You do not yet own the property and everything in a house can be fixed or replaced. The question is, who is going to pay for the remedy if the defect?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
180 Classroom Hours of formal educational training and 2 years of apprenticeship. I complete a minimum of 60 additional classroom hours every two years in continuing education.
