Introduction: Safer pest management means to reduce pest populations to practical levels without depending solely on pesticides. Our focus is on determining the root causes of pest problems through awareness, inspection, and monitoring. We look to chemicals as the last resort, and we always try to resolve the fundamental cause of the problem, not just treat the immediate issue. This means less harmful chemicals and pests in your office or home. If we must use chemicals, we always choose the safest pest control materials of natural origin. Being green does not necessarily mean less effective pest management; it only means safer pest management. Since 1946, we have been enjoying a long, successful history in the pest control business, and we remain the trusted name for service in industrial, commercial, and residential properties in New Jersey, New York, and Long Island. We, as a member of the National Pest Management Association, stay on the leading edge of pest management technology. From our dogs that are specially trained for bedbug detection to Cryonite treatments that ensure eradication, we can deal with the most difficult infestations with ease. Request a free pest evaluation for your business or home. We offer a range of services for multi-unit structures, restaurants and businesses. Let one of our professional inspectors visit you, and see what we at EcoStar can do to help.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We don't have a complicated pricing system for most homeowners. We have a limited number of home protection plans that cover a set number of pests - this way - you only pay for what you need. These plans include unlimited call backs for the duration of the plan to cover anything that might come up in between visits.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Coupons? As I was driving home on the NJ Turnpike yesterday, I noticed a giant billboard from one of our major competitors. The sign was fairly basic, the name of the company and directions to their website coupons. Is this what the industry has to offer customers? Coupons instead of solutions? From the customer perspective, how does one judge if a $50.00 coupon off yearly service is worth anything? Is 10% off a price that is already inflated by 10% a value? I question any company that leads with dubious “cost savings” without even listening to what pest problems you are having. Our approach is different. We don’t offer coupons on our website, via postal mail or any other method. We offer all our customers our best pricing without resorting to the use of coupons, promotions, or web specials. At EcoStar, we want customers that understand the value of our service and by offering meaningless discounts dilutes that. That is not to say that we still won’t be less expensive than our competitors in most cases when you compare apples to apples, but we won’t insult your intelligence offering meaningless promotions.
