FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't have a complicated pricing system for most homeowners. We have a limited number of home protection plans that cover a set number of pests - this way - you only pay for what you need. These plans include unlimited call backs for the duration of the plan to cover anything that might come up in between visits.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Coupons? As I was driving home on the NJ Turnpike yesterday, I noticed a giant billboard from one of our major competitors. The sign was fairly basic, the name of the company and directions to their website coupons. Is this what the industry has to offer customers? Coupons instead of solutions? From the customer perspective, how does one judge if a $50.00 coupon off yearly service is worth anything? Is 10% off a price that is already inflated by 10% a value? I question any company that leads with dubious cost savings without even listening to what pest problems you are having. Our approach is different. We dont offer coupons on our website, via postal mail or any other method. We offer all our customers our best pricing without resorting to the use of coupons, promotions, or web specials. At EcoStar, we want customers that understand the value of our service and by offering meaningless discounts dilutes that. That is not to say that we still wont be less expensive than our competitors in most cases when you compare apples to apples, but we wont insult your intelligence offering meaningless promotions.
