FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a $125 dispatch fee to send a technician to diagnose your equipment. After completing the diagnostic, we will thoroughly explain the issues in detail. We then provide our repair service options in a straightforward format. For instance, if your unit requires a Level 1 repair costing $125, the total for the visit would be $250, which includes the diagnostic/dispatch charge and the Level 1 repair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all begins with scheduling a visit. I take the time to familiarize myself with you and the issue you’re experiencing. I explain our dispatch and diagnostic fee while finding an availability that works best for you. Once dispatched to your home, we contact you in advance and wear shoe covers during our service visit. While onsite, I listen carefully to any issues or complaints you may have regarding your system. I thoroughly document all equipment information and accurately diagnose the problems. After the diagnosis, I present my findings, including options for repairs and services, many of which can be performed the same day. I strive to be thorough and ensure that every customer is satisfied with our service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a two-year apprenticeship in appliance repair and subsequently worked as a field service technician for over three years. After graduating from a technical school for HVAC, I undertook a four-year apprenticeship in HVAC and continue my career today as an active, EPA and NATE-certified HVAC technician. Given the wide range of equipment and applications in this field, a career in this trade necessitates continuous education and training. Each day in the field presents new learning opportunities.
