Whether you have children or not. Whether you are from the same cultural background or not. A successful and happy marriage requires work. A foundation of healthy habits. Do any of these sound similar? *Struggling with Communication, trust, conflict resolution or intimacy issues? *One persons needs clashes with the others. *Either or both came into the relationship with expectations and didn’t check in to make sure you were on the same page. *One or both of you feel actions are not matching the words. *Someone feels they are trying harder and * One or both of you are not feeling appreciated. *Someone feels “communicating” will lead to an argument so they pull away. *One or both of you feel you keep talking but the other person gets defensive? The list goes on. The right coach can show you how to understand each other and get to a better place. The same applies if you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one. Do you feel lost, alone and misunderstood by those around you? Do you know you could be happier and more fulfilled but don’t know where to start? I incorporate my knowledge of the human psyche, hands on experience as well as the guidance from belief in Allah and the prophet to advice and help you start taking baby steps to a better life. My responsibility as your coach is to help you better navigate where you’re at. The goal is not for you to need a coach forever but to teach you ways to better your relationship with yourself and/or your partner so that you can incorporate them on your own down the line. I am so grateful that my husband and I found Q&S counseling for couples. We looked for a while trying to find someone who could help our marriage after hitting the 10 year mark. We knew we loved each other, we both kept trying, we both communicated but somehow it always ended in a screaming match. Or one of us upping the other and us spending weeks under the same roof barely interacting to avoid arguments. We couldn’t figure out the problem….. Ameena came through for us. She knew how to approach each one one of us not just from an Islamic perspective but also from a knowledge of the differences between men a women and this combo was what made the difference for us. She gave us tools that we use everyday and she was so right!!! When we are focusing on the other person and their effort or lack thereof we lose sight of taking responsibility for ourselves. From an Islamic perspective this was on point too!!! I am just so happy and can’t rave enough about this sister. Her knowledge, perception and straightforward ness was on point! Seeing that she genuinely cares was a bonus. Highly recommend. Do NOT give up on your marriage before consulting with her.

Stephanie’s approach was objective and didn’t feel like she was judging or making anyone feel wrong or right. She was very straightforward and knowledgeable. I would recommend her as a coach for anyone struggling in a marriage or even for pre marital counseling. She doesn’t push you to stay or divorce but rather understand each other better so that together you can make your own non impulsive decisions.

Listening!!! Finding the root cause and helping clients realize the good, the beauty and triumphs along the way to reaching their ultimate goal.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with marriages that struggled due to cultural differences, economic issues, roles of each partner responsibilities with regards to children, chores etc and expectations of someone who’s never been married via someone who already has marital experience. I have also worked with people who suffer from depression, stress, anxiety, anxious attachment styles, DV, sexual abuse and trauma.
