FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates and pricing policies can be found online at healingyoganh.com/rates. I offer a complimentary consultation, and a new student special. Please contact me to discuss discounts and sliding scale fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation, either in-person or via phone. We'll complete an initial intake together to discuss your goals. A private session looks different for every student. We’ll start each session with a check-in to see how you’re feeling physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. From this information, and taking in to account the goals you set in our initial consultation, I’ll offer postures, breath work, meditation, yoga philosophy and modifications to help bring your body into balance. We’ll work on safe and proper alignment in the yoga postures, often with adjustments and hands-on assists, and finding a steady breath. Each practice will end with a few minutes of rest and guided relaxation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an experienced registered yoga instructor (E-RYT200/RYT 500). I completed my 200 hour teacher training in Vinyasa Flow with Flor Yoga (Sarah & Tomas Marsh) in Jersey City, NJ in 2014. Since then, I have completed advanced trainings at Pure Yoga in NYC in Yin Yoga (Kate Kuss), Restorative Yoga (Mary Aranas) and Therapeutic Yoga (Sonja Rzepski, Dana Slamp, Jon Witt).
