Susana and her husband transformed my chair and were meticulous about the materials and construction. The sent back the blue leather hide to the manufacturer twice before they were satisfied with the dye process. They came in under budget and restored life into this beautiful chair. Susana was very communicative and easy to get in touch with and made the whole process easy and simple. THANK YOU!

Very professional, husband and wife team. They were super responsive to my request and knew exactly what the problem was and how to take care of it. Now I am waiting for the job to be completed. I will update when I see the final product but I'm sure they will do an amazing job.

Susana and Carlos gave new life to my favorite chair. Susana worked with me on fabric selection and was quite patient with me. After deciding on combining two fabrics Carlos assured me that it would look good and he was so right! His craftsmanship is magic. I’m so happy to have found them . I may never buy another new piece of furniture. Thumbtack and Aurora Upholstery Studios… two thumbs up!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our estimates are pretty much true to their value. Only when we open certain pieces and find surprises then we have to discuss the additional charges with our clients. This happens rarely, but no one wants surprises at the end.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer sends us a photo of the furniture/cushion/banquette/etc., to be reupholstered. The quote is sent back to the customer within 24-48 hours. If customer agrees we start the process for the project immediately. Customer chooses the fabric, we order it and pickup the furniture. The timeline starts after we have everything in our studio and 6-8 weeks later or sooner, the furniture is complete and redelivered back to the customer.

We have 45 years of experience in the upholstery business.
