We were looking for experts & found Aurora Upholstery on thumbstack. My experience right from initial quote to the final delivery of the product was flawless, the final outcome was beautiful & very neat(Specially the piping work around the seat). They help us select the cloth and total pricing was also very reasonable, I also did not have to followup. They delivered it on agreed date. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our estimates are pretty much true to their value. Only when we open certain pieces and find surprises then we have to discuss the additional charges with our clients. This happens rarely, but no one wants surprises at the end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Customer sends us a photo of the furniture/cushion/banquette/etc., to be reupholstered. The quote is sent back to the customer within 24-48 hours. If customer agrees we start the process for the project immediately. Customer chooses the fabric, we order it and pickup the furniture. The timeline starts after we have everything in our studio and 6-8 weeks later or sooner, the furniture is complete and redelivered back to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have 38 years of experience in the upholstery business.
