Drain problem
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a licensed master plumber in NJ that is bonded and insured. I have a day job in the industry, and I am looking for extra ways to make money for my family by picking up sidework. I am new to this website but not the industry. I stand by my work and I won't leave a job until it is fully completed. I have the capabilities, experience, and knowledge to tackle a basic repair or a big project. I am also a licensed backflow preventer tester.

Spoke with the owner of the company who responded immediately to remedy a plumbing issue in the crawl space of my home. Not only was this job after hours it was late into the evening and he stayed until the job was done! Great service and a knowledgeable Plumber.

Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

I contacted him to inspect a job on one of my listings. He visited, but struggled to grasp the process involving the township and permits. Despite my repeated attempts to follow up about the permit paperwork, he disappeared completely. It's incredibly frustrating; I now need to find a new plumber, wasting valuable time. I guess they don't need the business!

Here are the facts. photo album of job: https://photos.app.goo.gl/HTqKRWbkzmpZiXRL8 scope: Louis called me, his client bought the house already and the town only has the house listed as a 1.5 bathroom house, when in fact it has a full bathroom on the first floor. Louis wanted me to stamp this bathroom for the town, as a full functional bathroom. Upon inspection of the bathroom piping, I told Louis I would not as a licensed plumber, stamp this as an acceptable full bathroom. I don't care that you are only concerned about recognizing this as a full bath. No town inspector would approve this as acceptable. Louis then told me to just stamp it and if it fails he will hire me for the work. I did not charge Louis for my time, however I am not stamping a bathroom to fail inspection.
