Ever since I have joined, my life has completely changed for the better. This is not your average gym where you walk in and the employees just check you in and go on about their day. Each and every staff member and trainer take the time to get to know you, whether you are training with a personal trainer, using the gym on your own, or just coming in for all the amazing workout classes. You walk in, are instantly greeted with a warm welcoming smile and kind words. You become apart of a family when you join NonStop, you become apart of a team, a team that motivates you to never give up, never stop, and to reach your goals. A team that will always lift you up & help you achieve your goals. Every trainer and staff member at NonStop truly take the time to learn more about you and your goals and always take the time to help you out with whatever it may be, whether it’s assistance with an exercise, understanding more about health and fitness, or even just wanting to have a friendly conversation. My personal experience with my trainer David Milligan, has been a truly unbelievable and unforgettable one. It had taken me a while to join the NonStop team and begin training with David, because in my head, I did not believe that I would be able to keep up with the training. Even before I officially signed up, David would reach out to me, send me positive feedbacks & comments on my own workout posts, and help give me the confidence I needed to eventually walk in to NonStop & sign up. When I first came in, David took the time to listen to my goals as well as my concerns, and instantly made me feel as though this was something I’d be able to do. He is truly an absolutely amazing & inspiring trainer. He believes in every single one of his clients & not just his personal clients, every individual that walks into the NonStop building. He is always motivating you to keep going, push harder but also takes the time to adjust workouts and plans by listening to any concerns you may have. David always checks in on everyone, reaching out to see how they are doing not just physically but mentally, which I believe is even more important. Whenever I have lost motivation or felt stuck or lost, and it may not even have been due to exercising or fitness in general, David always finds the right & uplifting words to help bring back that drive and motivation, and to get you back to where you wanted to be. Always bringing laughter and joy to each and every work out session as well as making sure we are putting in the work & doing our best because he knows that we can. He has truly helped and changed my life for the better in more ways than he knows. NonStop Fitness is truly a unique, positive, inspiring gym. The responsiveness in trainers and staff, the professionalism of each individual, the positive & uplifting atmosphere, the sense of community, the work ethic, the cleanliness, the energy of this gym is truly one that I 100% you will not find at any other gym. Nonstop Fitness is a gym that will turn you into family. David is a great trainer, I’ve been going to him for years. His energy alone will motivate and uplift you, he will push you past limits you never knew you had. He is patient and understanding, he will make sure you are doing exercises correctly, even if it takes a million tries. If you cannot do something, he will modify it for you but in time he will have you doing it without any modifications. He is huge on communication and values his time and his clients. Dave and all his non-stop trainers are immensely passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is naturally enthusiastic which helped me relax about all my worries surrounding my lack of fitness from the start. Dave took his time to listen to all my stories, understanding my needs and goals. Non-stop motivates me to keep getting back up and pushing every day. I have been training through NSF for almost three years and I can not say enough positive things about this facility and it’s trainers! They truly make everyone feel like family and are dedicated to helping each member live their best life. On 6/6/18 A Sunday night I texted David and literally said I need help he responds tomorrow morning 6am be at the gym. That night I had one of my darkest night’s mentally. Fast forward to the next morning, I show up, David says 2 rules don’t tell me you can’t do something and don’t quit. Fast forward to today, I’m 80+ down and in such a healthy place mentally. David not once quit on me, doubted me, and I never questioned him once and here I am today. The staff, the gym, the members, the atmospheres... - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My pricing is affordable. My goal has never been to dig into people’s pockets. With my service you are getting my experience and knowledge and a plan that is personally developed for you! I am reliable and consistent and will not waste your money or time. I do offer military and first responder discounts as well as group rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A typical process begins with an interview to discuss your lifestyle, your current activity level and diet as well as any injuries. We then discuss goals or desired areas of improvement. During the first session I assess to see what your body is comfortable and struggles with including weights and form.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied exercise science at Rowan University and became a certified personal trainer 10 years ago. In the past ten years I have developed valuable knowledge about all body types and modifications as well as a nutrition, kettle bell and two different kinds of personal training certifications.
