We really enjoyed working with Jeremy & Rico on the architectural drawings for our home - we highly recommend them! My husband and I were converting the second floor of our home from a 1b/1b to a 2b/2b and even though we had a really specific idea of what we wanted to do, Jeremy provided such great insight and guidance on how to make it better! Additionally, we were on a tight timeline to get drawings in place and Jeremy and Rico were able to turn this project around in record time.

We had to rebuild our home due to a water leak and Pur4 Studios was able to support our contractors build our dream renovations. When we converted a ~400sqft detached garage to a livable space with a bathroom and kitchenette, Montclair required architectural plans. The architect we had previously used for our entire home renovation (who we liked) quoted us a significant fee for what we wanted, and it was way more elaborate than what we had discussed, as did another architect in Montclair. Our contactor connected me with PUR4. They called me promptly, came for a site visit after hours (I was too busy with work then to meet during the day), and listened to me about the scope of the project and our construction budget. After hiring them, they worked with me on several rounds of revisions to achieve our vision. They were also cognizant of the relevant zoning ordinances; we had to be careful not to trigger Montclair's ADU ordinance because it would have required additional work to other parts of our property (and Montclair's bldg dept. and zoning officer helped us through that too). PUR4 did a great job, and that their fee was 2/3 of what the other architects quoted me wound up being the added bonus.

I can’t say enough good things about PUR4! Rico and Jeremy went above and beyond and met all of my expectations with their proffesionalism. This was my first experience using an architectural firm and they made it easy for me to understand the intricacies of creating plans for a project. Our pricing is structured as defined packages based on project scope, complexity, and required deliverables. Architectural services are tailored to each project.
Each proposal reflects your specific goals, regulatory requirements, and the level of documentation needed for permitting and construction. Our drawing sets are developed to support smooth approvals and give contractors the clarity needed for accurate, reliable pricing.
Optional 3D renderings and digital walkthroughs are scoped separately based on level of detail and number of views required.
We ensure you understand exactly what is included so expectations are aligned from day one.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After receiving your inquiry, we schedule a brief consultation call to review your goals, budget range, timeline, and property conditions.
We then assess any zoning or permitting considerations and define the level of documentation required. Based on that, we prepare a clear proposal outlining scope, deliverables, and next steps.
Once approved, we move into design development and any required municipal coordination.
Our process is built around establishing clarity early so the project moves forward efficiently.
