- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will schedule a consultation with a new client over the phone or via Zoom to discuss the project in detail, the objective, and vision that the client has in mind. It is a collaborative effort and I always take the time to listen and make sure to put my clients needs first.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography eduction and training never stops because as a photographer you learn new things everyday. Every shoot is different and you have to be seasoned and professional in the high stress environments that encompass professional photo shoots. Having had previous course training in various disciplines at the School of Visual Arts, and working as a photo- assistant for several commercial photographers, it was as a freelance news photographer with the Associated Press in the New York Bureau where I would say my real photography eduction got started. As a photojournalist you are taught to capture the decisive moment in any situation, news, editorial, portraits, events, and sports, timing is everything. It has made me highly versatile and with a news photographers approach, I strive to capture the decisive moments in any assignment I am covering.
