Meredith Mayer: Graphic Designer

Introduction: Meredith Mayer is an entry-level art director/graphic designer with a degree in art and new media from Penn State University. She has just completed a rewarding internship program with a pharmaceutical advertising agency, Concentric Health Experience, as an art direction intern. Meredith is proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and has a basic knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS, Final Cut Pro and Processing. Throughout her time with Concentric, Meredith has designed infographics as well as made many templates for pieces such as validation lists, press releases, disease information flashcards, concepts for advertisements, logo designs and mock-ups for digital tactics. At Concentric, she had worked on a selection of brands that are on the market such as Prepopik and Exjade and had worked on projects for clients such as Novartis, Otsuka, Lundbeck, and Ferring. She has learned that choosing a particular color scheme can make or break a design, and more often than not, a bold and simple aesthetic is the most rewarding.
