FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Consider how skilled the provider is in caring for horses and the flexibility of the service. Look for an environment that works for you and your horse. Speak with the manager and the staff about what they offer and what they do. Consider the reputation of the owners and the manager. Walk the property and visit with the horses. Ask about vet, farrier and other services that are provided and the costs. Find out about the philosophy of the trainers, managers and the owners. Is it about people and horses working together? Do they really understand horses and the interaction with people? How do they teach people to work with their horses? Do they have the proper insurance and policies in place?
