FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is designed to be straightforward and transparent. Mediation services are billed at $200 per hour, and most couples reach a complete agreement within one to three sessions. Once an agreement is finalized, I prepare the Mediation Settlement Agreement (MSA) for a flat fee of $500. If a separate parenting plan is needed, it is available for an additional flat fee of $500. Discounts are available when both documents are prepared together. I discuss costs upfront so there are no surprises, and my goal is always to help clients reach a fair resolution as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. As a thank you for their service, active-duty military personnel and first responders are eligible for an additional discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with a complimentary consultation where we discuss your situation, answer your questions, and determine whether mediation is the right fit for you and your family. If you choose to move forward, we schedule mediation sessions focused on reaching mutually acceptable agreements regarding parenting, finances, property division, and any other issues that need to be resolved. My role is to facilitate productive conversations, ensure both parties are heard, and help guide you toward practical, fair solutions. Once all terms have been agreed upon, I prepare a comprehensive Mediation Settlement Agreement (MSA) and, when applicable, a parenting plan. These documents provide the foundation for your uncontested divorce filing. Throughout the process, I strive to create a respectful, supportive environment that minimizes conflict, promotes cooperation, and keeps the well-being of any children at the forefront of every discussion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a nationally certified Divorce Mediator and a New Jersey Superior Court Rule 1:40 Civil Mediator. My mediation experience began in 2007, with a primary focus on civil and employment disputes. Since 2021, I have expanded my practice to include divorce and family mediation, helping couples navigate separation, divorce, co-parenting arrangements, and related family matters. What distinguishes my approach is the combination of extensive mediation experience and a commitment to personalized solutions. Every family, relationship, and set of circumstances is unique, and I tailor the mediation process to address the specific needs, goals, and concerns of the individuals involved. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical agreements and customized parenting plans that support long-term success. Drawing on nearly two decades of mediation experience, I provide a respectful, solution-focused environment designed to help parties reach fair, lasting agreements while minimizing conflict and stress.
