- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is usually tailored to the event, the customer, and circumstances. Weddings range from $695 to $1300 or more. Retirements, birthdays, communions, etc start around $350 up to $895. Time, conditions, venues and some other factors can affect the final price. These prices reflect a four hour event. (weddings prices at the $1100 and up range usually are for 2 DJs and include a cocktail hour and other included features). We also run promotions, and special pricing options for Thumbtack clients. As a special promotion for Thumbtack clients, we are offering competitive pricing on many of our quotes. These prices do not reduce the quality of our service, we are attempting to establish our brand with the Thumbtack service. This should be a win-win for our customers. They get the benefit of our experience with budget pricing. It's like getting a Lexus for Smart car prices!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For mostly all our events we work with our clients to determine what their musical tastes are via requests and taylor our music to reflect that. Sometimes new customers are pleasantly surprised that we listen to their needs. The wedding reception is the pinnacle of your special day. Ask us how The JadesDJ make your special day personal. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over forty years of DJ/Entertainment experience which can be an education in itself! We also subscribe to the latest music service (Promo Only), attend conventions and read and subscribe to industry periodicals.
