- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have set prices, however when a pet is staying for an extended amount of time, or is potentially going to be a repeat client, we offer discounts. We also try to stay competitive with the competition, so if you have already been quoted, we will certainly try to compete with that price.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get in this line of work when I realized that there wasn't anyone who would treat my pet like I do. And I decided to be that person that will.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My only advice would be please don't price shop. Any person will take a couple hundred dollars from you and promise you the world to get it. Please visit the pet sitter you are choosing. Look around their home, notice everything. Ask a thousand questions that they should answer off the top of their head. DONT just go the guy who is $10.00 cheaper. It does not mean they will love your baby.
