FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Defining a budget is the responsible way to start a renovation. You may have already set a budget or you may need help forecasting a budget. Our goal is to provide the best value for the money when investing in your home. We will be upfront on evaluating if you can get what you want within budget or if you need to scale back the scope of work. We present the total price of your project before a deposit is made. Additionally, we provide an itemized quote of each phase of the project that includes materials. The price of a newly renovated kitchen or bath with the same layout and scope of work can change as much as 35% with material selections–same amount of work just different material. We present materials for every price point. We value engineer every job so you get the desired look and design within your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by first meeting with you during a complimentary consultation to identify your ideas, needs and goals, as well as to introduce ourselves and our services. We will use this time to walk the space, gather information, evaluate your project, develop a concept for your unique design and answer any questions you may have. Next we create a plan for your project and work with you to refine your project scope, budget and details. Once the project contract is signed we collect 30% of the total budget and start the pre-construction phase. This is where all the behind-the-scenes preparation takes place, material ordering starts, and we begin preparing the space for construction. During construction we establish a routine with you for acknowledging milestones and soliciting your feedback. Open communication between owner and contractor helps mitigate any issues that arise during construction, and to ensure we execute the project on time, on budget, and in a manner that exceeds your expectations. As construction nears completion we will schedule a pre-completion walk through with you to create a punch list of all concerns and final details. Clean up, final walk through and final inspections complete your project. Now it’s time to relax and enjoy your new dream space. Even after the project is done, you can call us with any questions or concerns.
