I met Paul from Krushk9 while looking for a German shepherd. When I visited Paul's litter, I didn't expect to go home with a puppy, but after I seen the temperament of both the parents and the puppies, I knew I couldn't leave without one. Paul was extremely friendly and welcoming, but was also very knowledgeable not only about his puppies, but about dog training in general. Our relationship did not stop there. We worked with Paul for over 4 months after receiving the puppy. He helped us train the puppy and taught us all the training techniques I needed to be successful and develop a great bond with my GSD. Paul is very caring as shown by he contacts me regularly to see how the dog and I are doing. We also still meet up from time to time so the GSDs can play and we could catch up about training and progress. I couldn't be happier with Paul as both my trainer and breeder. I would recommend him to anyone looking for dog training.

Training with KrushK9 has completely changed my dog for the better. Prior to training with Paul, my dog thought everything was a game, especially when he got loose. Each time he got out, it would be a 45 minute debacle filled with fear of him getting hurt, stress of catching him and of course embarrassment as I had no control over this dog as he ran circles around me. The best decision I ever made was contacting KrushK9. My dog is the same amazing dog with the big difference being he now LISTENS to my commands. He now comes when I call him as he respects my authority and he is happy and content that I am in control. I can now include him in all lifes events without fear that he will misbehave. I recently attended a childrens birthday party and multiple people couldnt believe it was the same dog! Thank you- the results from the training sessions exceeded my expectations and as an added bonus my dog loves me more than ever!

Our family purchased a German Shepard from Paul this year and we couldn't be happier. We've continued training and will never stop learning. Paul is always available for questions and really cares about how his dogs are fitting into their homes. He's made training fun for our entire family. We know we can count on him to help us learn. Working with Paul @ Krushk9 has been a life changing experience. Before Paul I didn't get a moment to relax. Gibbs was into everything, didn't listen, jumped up when he met people & other dogs & really tried my patience. I now have a respectful, obedient dog I love spending time with. He has helped me to be the dog handler Gibbs needs to be the exceptional dog I always knew he was!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes all pricing is the same for everyone. There is no difference in rates for private obedience lessons from person to person. Flat hourly rate. I add in a fee if you live more than 10 miles away for driving time, fuel, tolls, etc. commensurate with the distance and time to get to your residence. Board and Trains vary with an entry level monthly flat rate and go up for more aggressive and dangerous dogs. Most dogs require 1 month to really solidify their training but some do occasionally require more time. After boarding and training your dog, you are required to learn to train with your dog and to handle them in the way the way taught. You can schedule to come back for weekly lessons at no additional charge within the first 6 months after training with us. This will ensure you're on the right page and will set you up for success for years to come.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone call to explain how we conduct business. Determine the issues you have as a dog owner and then plan a time to meet to evaluate the dog or dogs. After which point we develop a customized program to help your dog and for you to better communicate with your dog/dogs from this point forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training and competing dogs and K9's in multiple dog sport and obedience venues for close to 10 years. I also work with local police officers to help problem solve obedience and tracking issues as well as other issues related to their line of work. Over the past 3 years I have been working with prominent rescue organizations and helping them with their most difficult dogs.
