Drum Lessons with a Broadway Pro!

Currently available for lessons on location in Somerset County NJ, surrounding areas in Central Jersey, and online. I have 20 years of professional working experience, including significant time on the Broadway scene in New York. I was the drummer for the long Off-Broadway run of Avenue Q, as well as the Broadway productions of Finding Neverland and Promises, Promises. My Broadway subbing credits are numerous and include: Frozen, The Book of Mormon, Wicked, The Lion King, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, and Legally Blonde to name a few. I'm also frequently the drummer of choice in concerts/tours for artists such as Mario Cantone, Countess Luann ("The Real Housewives of New York City"), Heather Headley, Clay Aiken, Sarah Stiles (Tony nominee/ tv star), and Kate Rockwell ("Mean Girls"). My other professional experience covers the bases from extensive work with The Radio City Rockettes, to cruise ship bands for Norwegian and Carnival, to major national tours of musicals, to cabaret rooms with top artists in NYC. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies performance from The University of North Texas, where I studied with world-renowned educator Ed Soph. I was also a longtime student of Tommy Igoe and appear as a featured guest on his bestselling DVD "Great Hands For a Lifetime." I'm currently accepting students ages ten and up. I have a versatile, friendly approach, and I'm happy to work on the music and studies you're most interested in!
