Board and train at a facility
I just recently adopted my first dog of my very own so I was a little nervous finding trainers that would work, but Ed was on time, friendly and picked up on things about my dog that just went over my head. He is super smart and finds things that will work for both you and your dog. He had me do some of the techniques so that I would be able to do them on my own with my dog. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!!Sep 3, 2019Verified
This was such a positive experience! My dog is 6 1/2 years old and I had my doubts whether any obnoxious behaviors could be changed. I was so pleasantly surprised and Ed’s training was easy for me to continue. I would strongly recommend him to all of you!Jun 25, 2019Verified
Ed did a wonderful job on my puppies training session, yesterday. Ed answered any questions I had in regards to my 12 week old poodle puppies biting, any leash training, excitability, favorite toys, crate time, etc... I am very pleased with the service Ed was able to give my dog, Tink and myself. Thank you.Mar 11, 2019Verified
My Dog Molly ( A Bluenose Pitbull) took to Edward immediately. I had an issue with another trainer who Molly was not as comfortable around, who knew but it can happen. Edward was knowledgeable, gave me tools to use and helped me better understand dog training. I recommend Your Dog TrainerFeb 17, 2019Verified
I have used other dog trainers before and Ed is by far the best. He is patient, knowledgable and made sure that I had the tools to keep up the training when he finished the session. I will use him again and I highly recommend him.Feb 17, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My training sessions are one hour to one hour for one dog. If you have two dogs, please contact me for pricing. For basic obedience training, we will cover sit, down, stay, down-stay, biting, and nipping. Our one-or two-week (three weeks for aggressive dogs that have bitten) intensive board and train program covers all the necessary behaviors your dog needs to know. Your dog will learn come, sit, down, heel, place, off, leave it, and drop. We will also work on leash walking, stopping jumping, house and crate training, and aggressive behavior if needed. We use a balanced approach to dog training. Our board and train program comes with five in-home follow-up training sessions to answer any questions and help with continuing training. Your dog will return a great and loyal member of your family. During the evening, your dog will stay with me in my home and will be cared for like he was one of my dogs. We designed the board and train program for busy families needing to get their dog following commands quickly and properly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A one-hour training session consists of an assessment of your dog and his skill level. From there I will design a training program, that works well with the dog and your family schedule and lifestyle. For basic obedience training we will cover sit, down, stay, down stay, and how to stop bitting and nipping. My Board and Train program is a one-week intensive training program designed for dog owners that would like a dog with proper obedience skills and manors trained in a short amount of time. The board and train program is designed for dog owners that have a busy schedule or are looking to shorten the training process. Please contact me for more information on my board and train program.
