- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In almost all cases I will not be willing to give an estimate with out seeing the project . Meeting with the customer to go over the work allows me to give a fair estimate of cost with no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important to the customer and myself to be comfortable in the working relationship. This is another reason a meeting to discuss the project before the estimate is a good idea.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned my trade through over 40 years of experience as a contractor specializing in finish carpentry.
