Introduction: My services stand out because I get to know the client on a personal level. I meet most of my clients for their engagement photo shoots, then end up doing the makeup for their wedding, and even the makeup for their maternity photos. My favorite part of my job is making others feel great about themselves. I think every woman should feel confident in her own skin, and if I can make that happen then my day has been made!

Nicole is amazing!!! From first contact through thumbtack she is prompt in responding, polite and very professional! She arrived at our home exactly on time ( even a couple minutes early!!) and delivered perfection in exactly the amount of time she said it would take! My daughter started prom pictures about 430pm with beautiful make up done by Nicole and when she arrived home at 2 in the morning after dancing the night away her make up was exactly the way it was when she left the house at the beginning of the night!! truly impressive!! I can't recommend Nicole enough......she is a wonderfully talented, kind and professional young woman! THANK YOU NICOLE!!!! Amanda P.

Nicole was amazing! The make-up was everything I hoped it would be and more. We had a trial a few weeks before for my bachelorette party because I don't wear much maybe so I didn't know what I wanted and she came to my house to do it. She was so bubbly and talkative, it was like we were old friends. I also liked that she explained what would look good on my skin tone and gave me a play-by-play of what she was doing to my face.The make-up for the trial came out beautiful, I made some minor changes for the wedding day that she followed that day. On the day of the wedding, Nicole was punctual and her same bubbly self, she brought an assistant to make things run quicker and smoother. My make up was gorgeous and just what I wanted and it lasted all night into the next day both times! I would recommend Nicole for any and every future event where I will need make-up, she broke my fear of false eyelashes too. Overall, an awesome job and an awesome person!

THE WORST! I had a trial make up session with Nicole the Tuesday afternoon before my Saturday wedding. The initial trial went well, I was up front and honest and told her that I was considering other make up artists. I contacted her the day after my trial and asked her if it would be possible to do my rehearsal dinner vice my wedding. She said her Friday was totally open and I made an appointment with her for Friday at 4pm. She contacted me on Friday at 12:30 p.m. via a text message stating that she could no longer do my make up for my wedding rehearsal and dinner because she had another client. I was beyond upset, how do you call a bride 3 and a half hours before a scheduled appointment and cancel on the day of her rehearsal dinner. It was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Had I known that she was going to cancel, I would have set another appointment with the make up artist who did my wedding make up. I warn anyone against using Nicole Taylor Makeup. She is unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Nicole was on time, professional and affordable!!!!! She was attentive to what I wanted. I was a nervous bride and she went out of her way to calm my nerves. She was prepared and works with high quality supplies. My makeup was flawless. I can't wait to see the pictures. I would recommend her without question!!!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am ALWAYS taking new classes and learning new techniques, myself. I love to pass these techniques onto clients! I believe in this type of business you need to constantly be learning because fashion is always changing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for makeup and beauty since I was a little girl. I've known for many years that I was meant to be in this business, and here I am!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When a customer is unsure of what to look for in a makeup artist, I suggest they look at their portfolio. A customer wants to see what kind of work they are purchasing. The price should not matter as much as some think. You could get a great deal, but walk away with an unprofessional job done on your face. The second most important detail a customer should look for is cleanliness. I would never want someone with dirty hands, brushes, makeup, (etc.) touching my face. My third piece of advice would be to get to know the artist's personality. A wedding day could run 10 times smoother if the client and artist have personalities that instantly "click", and can get along well!
