FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We (typically) go through a DISCOVERY PROCESS - to determine the needs and goals of our client. 2. We then develop a PROPOSAL and WORK PLAN. In the work plan we define very specific deadlines and objectives to help the client understand the process and to feel more comfortable throughout the design and development. 3. We maintain excellent COMMUNICATION throughout the process. We have a dedicated Client Coordinator whose sole job is to make sure our clients are informed and happy. 4. We deliver the project on-time and on-budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The DotCom staff is highly qualified. With every member of our team boasting a minimum of 10 years in website design and/or digital marketing, our staff holds advanced degrees and certifications in dozens of different areas of interest related to website design and digital marketing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Not all website designers and digital marketers are the same. In our experience, there are a large number of unqualified people (and inexperienced people) working in this industry. Be careful! Some of the biggest offenders are large companies like Town Square Media (and others like them) who spend tons of money on advertising then turn you over to an entry-level web designer. Insist on speaking with 3 or 4 satisfied customers who have been with this company for over 3 years BEFORE hiring them. It is important that they have been with them for over 3 years because newer clients sometimes don't know enough (yet) to recognize they are not being served well.
