FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a standard site visit fee of $350.00, this covers labor for: system check-up, basic repairs like monitoring software setup/configuration/update, fuse/breaker replacement, identification of production problems, etc. We can also provide written quotations for system cleaning, critter abatement installs and system removal and reinstallation for roofing repairs or replacements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make initial contact, get some basic information from the customer like: system type, inverter brand, error codes/lights, and a basic description of the issue/s the customer is having with their system. We then explain what reason could be causing the problems or issues and what may needed to be done to remediate them. We explain our site visit fee and what is covered and then proceed to schedule the site visit date and time. If the customer would like a quote for a system cleaning, solar panel removal and reinstall or a critter abatement barrier install, we can create a written quote and email the customer as well without having to incur in a site visit (most of the time).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our solar technician has a NABCEP PVA certificate and multiple certificates (installation, design, service technician) from different component manufacturers such as Enphase, SolarEdge, Fronius, SMA, IronRidge and K2 Systems.
