Introduction: There are very few others who do what I do! Hand rolled egg pasta is unlike anything you can buy or make with a machine. It is light and porous with a beautiful surface texture that holds whatever sauce you use to dress it. Hand made semolina pasta is more rustic and toothesome, with dozens of traditional shapes that are only possible by hand. Gnocchi that you make yourself dissolve on the tongue. Nothing you can buy comes close. I want as many people as possible to know the delights of this beautiful cuisine and so I teach anyone who wants to learn. And finally, because food is something that is meant to be shared, 10% of our proceeds go to support food justice initiatives in our own community and beyond. I love that moment when a student "gets it". There is an air of mystery that surrounds this skill but it is really very simple. People are always so surprised at what they can accomplish on the first try and I take such pleasure in their pride when they lift that first handful of noodles in the air for all to admire.

greatly enjoyed learning to make semolina pasta in Jolynn's class. i had a lot of questions & she graciously and clearly anwered all of them. she was very attentive to each person in the class. i have above average experience in cooking & i could have used on-line resources for how to make semolina pasta but i'm glad i took her class & was able to get hands-on experience with excellent feedback during the class. i was ready to make pasta for my family after the class & did within the next day. during the class, we all made pasta from scratch and a fresh pasta dish was prepared by Jolynn. we enjoyed a meal together with friendly, enjoyable conversation. my wife & adult children have really liked the pasta that i have since prepared for them. i intend to sign up for another class of Jolynn's.

I would highly recommend participating in one of Jolynn's classes. She is a patient, knowledgeable teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed the class, the other students and the awesome meal that followed! We purchased the boards and rolling pins and plan on making pasta on our own...and of course, taking another class!

We had a wonderful time taking this class. We learned all about making pasta by hand. Our whole family was part of this even my 3year old! Jolynn is a great teacher with an eye for details.

I have attended a few of Jolyn's classes and they were so much fun and learned so much. I am looking forward to going again. This is both educational a a great way to spend time with a friend or daughter son and even your hubby. Great gift idea too. I even make pasta myself now. My son loves it. Have fun

These classes are wonderful and I would highly recommend them. Jolynn is a warm, engaging person who gives clear instructions and interesting explanations of where the different styles of pasta making have originated. She gives little tricks and gentle corrections, all the while making you feel confident. The setting is so inviting and the company is always fun. My daughter and I have taken at least three different classes with her, and we've brought other family and friends along, too. We always have a great time and learn a lot.

We welcome students of every age and skill level. Each person in class has his/her own work station and is able to proceed at a pace that is comfortable. Class size is intentionally kept small so that each student can receive as much personal attention as possible.
