Introduction: I was a victim of domestic violence for 10 years. I understand what victims go through and can empathize with them in every way. I speak about what I know not what I read. I feel I have the experience to help victims make better choices. Most of all, I don't judge, I understand. I love being able to reach out to hurting people to inform them there are other alternatives to living. I love seeing the smiles on their faces when they know someone really cares about helping them. Domestic violence is an unimaginable situation and victims need someone who lived it, survived it, and can talk openly and honestly about their experience.
