Introduction: I'm nationally certified, which many massage therapists aren't.
I've taught at 3 area massage schools. Subjects I've taught include Massage Techniques, Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology and Myology, and Hot Stone Massage.
I use heated stones in almost all my treatments at NO extra charge.
I've worked in chiropractic, medical spa, and gym settings.
I worked for years in the business world, so I have maturity and excellent communication skills.
Most importantly, I love my work.
The ability to help people in very profound ways. Pain and chronic stress are debilitating, and to help fellow human beings to feel better has to be the most rewarding work imaginable. It is also work in which you keep learning, as the human body is wonderfully intricate.

Four years ago I began using Ralph as my massage therapist; definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made! Having a professional massage each month has been quite beneficial in reducing the effects that stress and chronic pain put on my body. Ralph always knows exactly what to do to undo the knots, how soft or firm the pressure needs to be and how to induce a wonderful state of relaxation. I especially love his thumb-work down my spine and the attention he gives to my neck and upper shoulders. He pays attention to details and knows which oil aromas appeal to me the most. My family wholeheartedly supports and encourages me to schedule the next session ~ they love it when Im both stress and headache-free and able to just chill! And, yes, I have already booked my session for this month.

I met Ralph back in September of 09, he was the night instructor at the National Massage Therapy Institute here in Wilmington, DE and I was his TA. I liked him right from the start and I loved working with him cause he was always there for the students and we always talked after class. He's the kind of person that always starts and finishes a project and often stayed late to make sure everything for the evening was done and finished.
Last year I couldn't find any friends (local) willing to give a massage and I remember Ralph telling me he had his own business so I made an appointment to come in. Well I am now hooked and as unfortunate as it is to drive the distance for me it is so worth the drive. It's makes the experience much more than just having a massage, it's going somewhere special to have a massage and Ralph makes it unique and very relaxing. I love his home base set up with aromatherapy, a waterfall, flowers and branches you feel you've walked into this peaceful place where you can leave all your worries behind. When I leave I feel all the stress of the week has left my body, my muscles are relaxed and my mind has been cleansed. I would highly recommend anyone to get a massage by him if not just for the massage but for his use of hot stones it's incredible!!
I have a continuing respect for Ralph and a gained friendship so I know I will continue to make my trek to come back, it is so worth the trip!!

Absolutely the BEST! I had been suffering from 4 bulging discs in my lower back, pain management and physical therapy did not work. I decided to try massage and chiropractic care, and it work. Ralph worked wonders on my back; competent, caring and skilled, I would use no other masseuse.

Ralph Casciato has given me regular massages since 2008. His touch is effective, intuitive, and caring. I have a chronic shoulder condition, and Ralph's attentiveness and sensitivity have built trust between us. This in turn has deepened not only the massage experience, but its benefits to mind/body/soul. Quite simply, Ralph is terrific.
