I have over 12 years of experience teaching children from different backgrounds between the ages of 4-16, which includes pre kindergarten, elementary middle and high school children. I also offer ESL lessons for people of all ages, to help them achieve their desired level of proficiency in English.
I do a free one hour session at the beginning, so I can meet my students, understand their personalities, get to know them and evaluate them. Based on this, I build a personalized plan customized to suit their needs and help them achieve their goals. I do offer discounts if 3 or more classes are necessary weekly.
- For pre kindergarten and elementary school children, I work with them based on their level and their needs. This includes everything that they have on their school curriculum and more.
- For older kids who are in middle school and high school, I provide classes for Math, Science and Computer programming.
- I also provide assistance with homework as required.
I believe in tracking the progress made, so I provide monthly reports on topics covered and the performance of your child, so you can feel assured and at ease. I would love to hear from you regarding your child's academic needs, as I know I can definitely help them reach their full potential.

Ms. Deba is currently helping me with my second grader and high school kids with learning differences. She not only teaches them their current material for class but makes it her goal to work on their weaknesses in order to catch them up. She is extremely patient and always positive. Both my kids enjoy her very much and it’s been a relief to have her help. She is highly recommended.

Ms. Deba is a Gem. She is so patient with my 2 boys and changes gear to help them with whatever they have going on as needed. She uses many tools to motivate and challenge the boys and she truly is passionate about helping them. She maneuvers through focus issues and tantrums, which is a blessing for us especially as one of my sons has Autism and ADHD. I'm so grateful to have been referred to Ms. Deba.

In a word: fantastic! My middle schooler has struggled with algebra since school began last fall. He had a difficult time grasping the concepts and it reflected in his very average grades in the first two quarters of the school year. I decided to find him a tutor to help him understand the algebraic concepts in a way that would be easier for him to understand. After a pretty exhaustive search, I found Deba and she’s been a godsend. We’ve already seen a marked improvement in his grades as well as his confidence in the few weeks she’s been working with my son. He’s begun referring to Deba as his ‘cheat code’:).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $55/hour and and offer discounts depending on the number of hours and the length of time for which instruction is needed. I charge a lower rate if more classes are needed per week. This is particularly beneficial for younger students who benefit more from shorter classes scheduled more often during the week. This can be discussed based on need.
