Magical Matt was an amazing magician, and he truly made our party a blast with his fun and energetic show! He came to perform at our apartment for my fiancée’s 29th birthday party. He was quick and witty with all his jokes, and he kept everyone entertained for the whole evening! Matt performed his “parlor-style” magic, which included a couple of card tricks, some mentalism tricks, and other illusions using different props, all while cracking light hearted jokes throughout the show. Everyone in the audience was very impressed with his performance, and we were all left amazed with his talents. My fiancée, who loves all kinds of magic, said that Matt performed some of the best magic she had ever seen in the entire city. 10/10 would recommend!!

Matt was absolutely excellent. He did a stage show for the kids. The kids arranged in ages 2 to 10 and they all loved him and then he did 60 minutes 101 or small group magic with the adults. He is extremely professional has such a wide range in humor and we are so happy that we hired Magical Matt.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to price as reasonably as possible, being fair to my customers and myself.
I calculate my pricing on the location of the event, services requested, and duration of my performance.
I consider the prices I quote fair in relation to my professional experience and to what is being asked by other professionals in today's market.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I typically assess their event needs by getting to know some details about their event and audience.
After we determine what they are looking for and we want to move forward, I would send them a contract and ask for a partial deposit. Once a deposit is received the performance is a go!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been to several acting schools and have taken improvisation classes. But the training I am most proud of is my undergraduate and masters degrees in education.
I have been a NYC school teacher for over 15 years. It is my specialty working with young people and I don't see myself doing anything else.
