I recently asked Katherine to take care of me two dogs while I attended a wedding and rehearsal dinner in Ocean City. My dogs are both rescues and are very anxious and nervous around strangers. It typically takes them a long time to warm up and trust people. I was astounded when Katherine came in and my dogs immediately showed her affection and acted as if she was their best friend. That has never happened before with anyone. Katherine is a true dog whisperer. She connected with my dogs right away. It was such a huge relief for me knowing that my babies were in such loving care. I was able to enjoy the wedding festivities without worry. Katherine is very personable and responsive. She is a genuinely wonderful person and so great with animals. She sent me lots of pictures of my babies while they were in her care. I would highly recommended her to anyone who is looking for the best quality care for their fur babies!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I get a new customer I like to talk with them first. Then I like to meet face to face. I like to go over what there needs are to make sure everything is clear and see where things are that is needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing dog walk and sitting for years now. I took training classes with my own dogs. I am getting ready to renew pet CPR. I do have a background check.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in this business after my two beloved dogs passed. I started by taking care of a friend and her three dogs when she got very sick.
