I've been a public speaking mentor for the past seven years teaching people of all different backgrounds how to improve their communication skills.
I specialize in making a presenter feel confident in whatever presentation environment they need, whether that be for a classroom setting if they're younger, an interview setting if they're trying to look for a job, a corporate setting if they're looking to move up the ladder, or a stage-speaking setting if they're looking for a career in media/entertainment.
My past clients have gone on to have much success in their Public Speaking journeys. Their accolades include Toastmaster's championships on the local and state level, Successful political campaigns, Successful book tours, National debate championships etc.
In my time not as a Public Speaking Coach, I spend time with my family, I make music, I perform stand-up, and work on my other startup ideas. I don't really work past the afternoon EST and I am frequently fully booked, so please be patient.

Akash provided tremendous value to my speaking. He is very encouraging but also practical with a good eye and ear for things I would never intuitively pick up on. I’ve had debilitating nerves going into public speeches, and that’s what led me to wanting to work with him. After a few sessions, I feel a lot more confident going into speeches and have since publicly spoken decently (without notes too!) One thing that really stands out about his coaching is how systematic he is - how he breaks down a speech. This allowed us to spot weaknesses, practice them, and improve them. Thank God I met him, what once seemed like an impossible skill to grasp is now something I view with more hope as a strength.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always try to figure out what each individual client's needs are before I proceed. I ask them first if they're looking for long-term growth or short-term prep before a big presentation they are nervous about.
From there, I I'll do a general session to figure out what the skill level of my client is. We'll do some basic exercises and work on whatever presentation they are currently prepping for. After that, I construct a personalized plan with the client to help them move towards their goals.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say look for someone who makes you feel at ease. Reducing your nerves is a huge factor in making you a more competent public speaker, and you are unlikely to do that working with someone you are intimidated by.
