- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is quoted as a written lump sum for the full scope, so you know the complete price before any work begins. No hourly surprises. Diagnostic and troubleshooting visits are billed as their own service, and any repair we find is quoted separately before we proceed. A 50 percent deposit reserves your date, with the balance due when the work is finished. Quotes stay valid for 15 days, and Voltus-supplied materials carry a 1 year workmanship warranty.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a conversation about what you want to accomplish. We review the space in person or through photos, then send a written quote in plain English that spells out exactly what is included. Once you approve and place the deposit, we schedule the work, show up on time, protect your home while we work, and walk you through everything before we leave. You get a clean site, a safe system, and a clear invoice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Voltus Energy Solutions is a fully licensed and insured New Jersey electrical contractor, NJ License 34EI01906000. Our team develops through a New Jersey Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program, and we are members of the Independent Electrical Contractors association. All work is performed to the 2020 National Electrical Code with New Jersey amendments.
