About this pro

How does your business stand out?

My promise to you: work with me, and I guarantee you'll get FAST results. Some teachers will milk you for your money, others are disorganized or inexperienced themselves- two things that guarantee super slow and frustrating results for both parties involved. I get you to your goals FAST, and without being overwhelming. I WILL challenge you and you will get to your goals in MONTHS, not years. My students refer business to me because they got exactly what they needed from me, and then some. Simple as that.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I love guitars and I love to teach. I love watching others excited to be able to play what they never dreamed they could play on the guitar.

Marcus is enthusiastic, professional and a great teacher. He genuinely loves what he's doing and he wants you to succeed in becoming a great guitar player. Taking guitar lessons with him has been a great experience for me.

I always thought that learning guitar was difficult but after a few minutes with Marcus, I have the confidence that I can learn this instrument.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For each student you refer who uses me for one month, you receive a free session. Pricing offered on a session-by-session or monthly basis. Standard tuition rates start at $40/wk for Guitar Group training, $120/hr for private sessions, and our first session together is free. Guitar Gym, Jam sessions, Workshop discounts and more are available in our tiered tuition options.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get together, in studio or at your home (if you're local). We discuss your goals, give you a guitar playing victory, no matter what your skill level, then go over whichever programs would work best for you to get the most out of your training (not all options are right for all people - and due to our diverse programs, we are sure to have something that fits your needs and makes you a fantastic guitar player).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a proud member of the Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle and successfully completed: Rotating Formats Guitar Teaching® Training- Gives you an unbelievable advantage over every other guitar player around you by helping you to learn in a tested and proven learning environment. Dynamic Group Guitar Teaching® Training- Helps you learn far more in group than most people can hope to learn in private lessons or poorly run group training sessions elsewhere. Geometric Guitar Teaching Method® Training- Gives you a unique perspective on the guitar that helps you advance in your guitar playing like never before. Perfect Practice Guitar Training®- Gives you a strategic advantage over everyone in the area who learns guitar because perfect practice equals huge results. Rapid Results Guitar Training®- Isn’t this what you’re after?? Proven strategies to make you a greater guitarist, whatever your skill level. The training I received in order to ensure that you succeed in your personal guitar playing is EXTREMELY VALUABLE and I personally GUARANTEE you can’t find this level of training anywhere else in New Jersey – THIS TRAINING IS THAT EXCLUSIVE!! So now the ball is in your court – Are you ready to become an amazing guitar player? Come in for a trial lesson and we will take you in, guide you, train you and shape you into the kind of guitar player you always wanted to be!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been unofficially teaching guitar for 2 decades while working a full-time job. I find it much more fulfilling and personally gratifying to teach full time instead.
What types of customers have you worked with?
People who have never picked up a guitar, Church guitarists who wish to excel during worship sets; Singers wishing to learn to sing and play to enhance their offering to the marketplace; Bedroom players who want to take their personal playing to the next level; Anyone struggling or hitting a wall in their playing and want to know how to break free and be able to play what's in their head!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure whoever you're hiring shows he cares about you by asking you questions about things like your playing goals, your plans, your current playing abilities. Make sure they can construct a specific roadmap to get you exactly to where you want to be, and that it won't take decades to get you there.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Some teachers in this industry want to rip you off to get as much money as they can get for as long as they can string you along. I don't have that kind of time to waste and I want to hold my business to a standard that my students are more than excited to refer their friends, family, colleagues, even strangers to me. The way to make that happen is to get you to your goals FAST, and in a way that you are playing with CONFIDENCE.
