My work is fun and friendly, you get a little bit of me in every drawing or painting I do. I mostly do commission caricatures in various dry media, including color pencil and chalk pastel. At live events, where time is of the essence, I just use pencil and a black marker.
Drawing at events is like a performance, so I enjoy the chatter behind me when I'm drawing, and the interaction and the smiles I bring to people's faces when I show them what they look like as a caricature. I hope that every drawing I do brings years of joy and fond memories of the event they were attending. It's almost not work if I'm having as much fun as the people sitting for me!
