Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I get a lot of energy and satisfaction seeing a subject or concept click for a student. I've been tutoring for over 10 years. With me you will receive a lot more than just the time paid for the session. I always come prepared and make sure to follow up. I know how to work at the pace of the student, and understand that their motivation is the key to improvement. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first consultation is always free! If you have trouble affording my hourly prices let me know and we can discuss a plan that may work better for you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial consultation I want to understand what you are struggling with as well as your goals. This will give me time to prepare for the first session to guarantee that no time is wasted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I was very lucky to grow up in a family of teachers and tutors. This allowed me to learn test taking skills as well as how to cater to the learning needs of others.
